Personal Statement:

I am passionate about creating a safe, collaborative, and inclusive space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey. As a therapist, I view each client as the expert in their own life and believe that meaningful change happens when we feel genuinely supported and accepted. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally sensitive lens, with a strong emphasis on building authentic therapeutic relationships.

With over three years of experience in mental health, I have supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, addictions, body image concerns, and major life transitions. I have a particular interest in working with youth and young adults, as well as those exploring identity and self-worth. My approach draws on evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also integrate creative and narrative tools to support clients in expressing their stories in meaningful ways.

I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Theology with a focus on Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University. My academic and clinical training are deeply informed by a belief in the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, and I strive to meet each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Outside of the therapy room, I find grounding in storytelling, artistic expression, and spending time in nature—all of which inspire and inform my therapeutic presence.
