The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work

For most couples, at every stage of life and love, who are longing for stronger and healthier relationships. In this two-day couples workshop you will re-build the foundation of friendship, learn how to manage conflict and increase healthy communication, and create shared purpose and deeper meaning.

Dates: October 23 and 24
Format: In-person (Ample free parking on-site)
Refreshments: Coffee, tea, and cold beverages provided. (One-hour break on Saturday; lunch not provided)
Investment and Registration:
Early Bird Special: $400 per couple (Pay in full by August 31, 2026)
Regular Price: $550 per couple (Sept 1, 2026 to October 21, 2026)
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Early bird – 100% before August 10th.  50% August 11th – October 9th.
Regular Price – 50% before September 30th.
No refunds after October 10th.

Join us for our “Unmasking: A 6-week support group for neurodivergent young adults”

 

Sessions will run each Saturday 10:00am to 11:30 am at our 201 – 470 Weber St N office in Waterloo (in the Serenia Life Building).

Group Agenda:

Week 1 – Making a sense of our identities

Week 2 – Navigating neurotypical expectations

Week 3 – Clarifying personal values beyond neurotypical expectation

Week 4 – Building and maintaining friendships

Week 5 – Communication and conflict resolution strategies

Week 6 – Cultivating self-care and self-compassion

NO FORMAL DIAGNOSIS NEEDED. You may be a good fit for this group if you any of the following apply to you. You:  identify as neurodivergent; you are over 18; you live in the Kitchener-Waterloo; you were diagnosed later in life; you want to connect with others; you want to build your social skills, you want a space of your own to talk and share or you want to learn coping strategies for dealing with the challenges that come with neurodivergence.

CHALLENGE AND CHANGING

A 6-week transformative group therapy journey for adults dealing with disordered eating and body dysmorphia

If you are struggling with body image and/or disordered eating, consider joining our closed group  “Challenging and Changing – A 6 week transformative group therapy journey for adults dealing with disordered eating and body dysmorphia”.  Sessions will run each Saturday 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at our 201 – 470 Weber St N office in Waterloo (in the Serenia Life Building).

Group Agenda:

Week 1 – Discussing diet culture and body image expectations

Week 2 – Reflecting on core beliefs and individual values

Week 3 – Challenging unhelpful thinking styles

Week 4 – Recognizing triggers and urges and practicing distress tolerance tools

Week 5 – Exploring communications techniques and boundary setting

Week 6 – Cultivating self-compassion and self-care

This group might be a good fit for you if all or some of the following apply to you: you are 18 or older; you live in the Kitchener/Waterloo region; you feel tired and alone; you have an eating disorder or struggle with food; you want a confidential space to talk about your struggles; you struggle with exercise; you struggle with body image; you want to transform your relationship with your body, yourself and food. In this six week group, we will learn more about and explore topics related to eating disorders and disordered eating, societal expectations, as well as identifying and challenging the eating disorder voice. Throughout the six weeks, there will be opportunities to connect with others, express yourself, and share in a non-judgemental environment. We request that participants commit to attending the full 6-week program.
