Why Clinical Supervision Matters
Clinical supervision provices an external, "bird's-eye view" to assist clinicians in evaluating client dynamics, see the blind spots they might otherwise miss, and to assist in navigating complex ethical dilemmas, legal requirements and trauma-informed care practices.
-
Safeguards ethics and boundaries
- Prevents isoloation
- Ensures therapists meet required competencies before and during independent practice
