We are currently looking for a Registered Social Worker, MSW, RSW (therapist) to join our team as an associate therapist.

What does Associate Therapist mean?

  • An associate therapist is a term we’ve created to help more clearly articulate the relationship between you (therapist) and the Delton Glebe Counselling Centre.  As an associate you are empowered to work as a therapist in a professional environment and within a community of talented therapists.
  • The key distinctions connected with being an associate therapist include:
    • You are paid when you see a client
    • You receive a majority percentage of the client fee
    • You can set a minimum fee – only see clients who can meet or exceed it
    • You set your schedule

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work.
  • Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of the health care team and to take initiative and leadership when appropriate.
  • Commitment to remain current on literature in clinical practice
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and efficient time management
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team
