Personal Statement:

I believe that the most effective healing occurs when a person feels safe, connected, seen, and heard. As your therapist, I will work collaboratively with you to create a welcoming and relational space for open and honest exploration. Connecting mind and body therapy techniques, we will work together to deepen your understanding of your life experience and invite softness and flow. Therapy unfolds at a slow and gentle pace, paying attention to the question: What does my nervous system need at this moment? I hold compassionate care for your emotional, somatic, and cognitive experience, as you connect with your innate tendency toward health and growth. Curiosity, creativity, and playfulness will also show up in our work together.

I approach my work from a compassionate, strengths-based, trauma-informed, anti-racist, intersectional-feminist, and sex-positive perspective. I integrate biopsychosocial, somatic, psychodynamic, narrative, and attachment-focused principles into my therapeutic process. As a social worker, I also explore the ways social justice issues related to power and privilege, and environmental influences affect mental health.

I love long walks with my dog, yoga, skiing, cooking, and spending time with my family.
