Personal Statement:

Hello, my name is Brianna and I use she/her pronouns.

I am from Nova Scotia and recently relocated to the KW area. In my free time I enjoy taking dance lessons. I aim to build a strong therapeutic relationship with you through providing a flexible, balanced, client-centered, and anti-oppressive approach to therapy. I draw from several modalities including strength-based, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, taking an eclectic, collaborative approach to suit your goals.

My goal is to create a welcoming, safe, and nonjudgmental space that will allow you to feel accepted, listened to, and empowered to confidently handle life’s challenges. I feel privileged to join you on your journey towards mental wellbeing.

Areas of Special Interest:

Throughout the last three years, I have worked with clients who have been diagnosed with eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, BPD, autism, and more. I also have experience in working with international students and LGBTQ+ individuals. I am interested in working with people of all ages, and with couples and families. Further, I am particularly interested in the topics of building and maintaining relationships, confidence/self-esteem, gender and/or sexual identity exploration, and incorporating art into therapy.
