Please join us for this annual fundraising event featuring Dr. Carrie Doerhing as she discusses how to foster resilience in the face of moral injury. Tickets are $45 and cover the costs of your meal, the speaker fees and a donation to our refugee fund which allows refugee families subsidised access to counselling. Shelf Life – Creative Bibliotherapy Workshop
Wordsworth Books is chaperoning this event titled: “From Fear to Joy: Cultivating Resilience in the Face of Fear”. In this workshop you will learn how prominent writers answer the questions “What does fear look like and what tools do you use to face it?”, and how books teach us to live a life of more freedom and joy. Back by popular demand – this event runs on Wednesday afternoons at 12:00 PM starting September 25th, 2017 here at 177 Albert Street.
