Cathy Middleton, Expressive Arts Therapist, R.P.

Personal Statement

Our lived experiences create our life stories.  It is through creative expression that one’s story is told and is witnessed.  I believe that each person is the expert in their life and that they intuitively possess the ability and resources internally to identify and resolve the problems and issues in their daily life. It is through the process of creating that helps us to delve into ourselves and express our pains and struggles and also provides us with the discovery of our own personal strengths and abilities that enables us to cope through life’s suffering.
