Personal Statement

Having Masters degrees in Social Work and Theology, I appreciate emotional and spiritual approaches to healing – to healing the whole person. Finding or making meaning in life is personal. Respecting each person’s worldview and the place of faith in that worldview, however defined, supports our healing journeys.

Areas of Special Interest

Most of my professional work has responded to and supported planning, policy, programs and development in the broader community. This includes how people find themselves in community; ways of invitation, participation and belonging, of co-creating goals and actions to build meaningful community.

I am pleased to be with the Delton Glebe Counselling Centre, working with professional, compassionate, client-centred therapists and staff. At the Centre we offer various therapeutic approaches, including Play and Art therapies, and we continue the tradition of building a caring, welcoming therapeutic community open to all.

Personal Statement

My education and experience as a Speed Skating Coach have made me acutely aware of the importance of mental health in success and overall wellness – and it’s something I’ve become very passionate about.

Areas of Special Interest

I have always wanted to work in the health care field, and hadn’t quite found my way in, until I found the Delton Glebe Counselling Centre. Being able to use my skills in Customer Service, and the education I was so passionate about to help my community receive quality, affordable care is something I could not be happier to be a part of. I’m also particularly passionate about students being able to access this kind of care, because I know how stressful the life of a student can be.
